New Member
Good Morning,
I am new to this website. I live in the Marion area and am looking for a place that I maybe able to go and do water aroborics. Does anyone know of a place that is close by.
I am 5 weeks post-op and am just starting the exercise program. I try to walk at least 30 minutes a day, either outside if weather premits or on the trendmill, I would like to add something different to my plan. Can anyone help.
Thank You
Peggy
Hi Peggy
Welcome! I know nothing about Marion but if it were me searching, I would check the Y as was suggested, but also:
Local schools-many HS have extra programs set up such as water aerobics. The cost is usually minimal.
Local fitness clubs-more pricey
Local recreational parks
Local hospital/library-these may be aware of support groups as well as fitness programs offered in the area.

I too am new. I live in Richmond but my pcp is in New Castle off of rt.3. I know they have a phy. therapy group in their building. My dr wanted me to take the water areobics there but I didnt want the drive. It maybe closer for you. I found a pool at our local hospital that has a treadmill in the bottom of the pool and my dr wrote an order for me to have the phy therapy for one month three times a week. It made a world of difference in my posture and my core balance, tightened my tummy muscles too. I hope after my surgery I can get my insurance to pay for it for another month.
Good luck finding a pool and keep us posted on what u find.
