I am not looking forward to that part of it!! I am having lap RNY.. TXS for any info that will ease it up a little.. Connie

Walk it off. Connie , walk it off. Mine wasn't really to bad. Just unconfortable crampy feeling. (But I also started the monthly the day of surgery, Oh joy). So who knows which pain and cramps were attributible to which source. If you are talking about gas down the raod farther than post-op there are some things out there I've heard others talk about that they have gotten off the net but so far I haven't needed them.(Thank God) Best wishes for for surgery. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself. J.mcAlhany surg 1/17/06 Evanson.

I guess I am like Larry the Cable Guy's grandma... I get the walking Farts every morning... I would just die if we had an early visitor who could actually experience it!!! WALK IT OFF... it is normal!! let it out for relief!!

Hi Connie, Wow, your surgery is right around the corner! I had HORRIBLE gas pains the day after surgery. They gave me liquid mylacon in the hospital and I got to take the rest of the bottle home with me (my insurance company probably paid a ton for it, lol!). It really helped me, alot! Best of luck to you. Jaimee
