Siho Insurance

I know I asked previously about the cost of the RNY Bariactric surgery. But does anyone have Siho Health Insurance through Bloomington Hospital and Siho would only pay if procedure was done as Lap Band at Bloomington? Siho will pay 60% if I go out of Network, but I was told that my out of pocket expense would be about $30,000 after insurance paid. Just making sure I am dotting my i's and crossing my t's. My whole surgery was around $30K...and lapband is even less than that...did you get the figures directly from the surgery center you picked? Seems a bit high. My girlfriend priced complete out of pocket thru St V's and St Francis and was told around $29K for RNY...less for lapband...around $23K...and that was with no insurance at all. I have SIHO through Columbus Regional Hospital , and Dr. Lindsay was in the network for me , I had RNY, my surgery was under $25,000. before insurance. That is not SIHO talking that is your place of work. I am now trying to get my daughter the same surgery, but Dr. Lindsay will not do it but a Dr. in Indy, Clarian health will and I talked to SIHO and they said that it was in the network for me, Call SIHO and ask for Wendy.(if you go through Columbus) My hospital bill after they paid was $250.00, (under the old plain Prime Care) now, I know I will pay more.
