Good Morning to all my buddies!
Well it's Thursday and going to be beautiful. High of 52 is what channel 13 said...hmmm YEAH! I am thinking of keeping my oldest out of school tomorrow and taking them both to the St. Patrick's Day parade tomorrow downtown. I think they would enjoy it. Well I have to say that I have been at a stand still for a little bit. Not sure if it's cause the gall bladder thing, not being able to eat or drink much...etc. I am so glad that's over!
Ok so I need some help. In May I am coordinating the 5th grade breakfast at my school (if you didn't know, I am PTO secretary at my daughter's school) and I need donations of breakfast food! Anywhere I can get it is fine. I want to cook some of it, but mostly I need like finger stuff. Fresh fruit, donuts, muffins, bagels...etc. Does anyone know where or who would donate? Grocery stores..HINT HINT! (Angie)
Or like Enstein Bagels? GFS?? Anywhere? I don't want anyone to have to spend money or help cook anything, just suggestions on where to look for donations! Thanks everyone!

Good morning!
I sure hope it DOES get up to 50 today, I'd like to take another long walk.
We went to walmart last night and spend ENTIRELY too much money. But since this is the first house we've ever had (been in an apt since I was 18) and spring is just about here, we bought some yard stuff. Flower seeds, pots, soil, a sprinkler, grass seed, a hose, blah blah blah. Can't wait for it to be nice and to be able to go out and play. I'm waiting until next week though to do any planting or anything, that's when my restrictions are off, and since my mom was always prone to getting multiple hernias after surgery, I've really been trying to make sure that I've been taking it easy and not doing anything I'm not supposed to phsyically wise.
Enjoy the day today!
I also have a job interview this morning. It's for the competitor to the company who fired me for having surgery. It may have been a blessing in disguise since the management teams there was going from bad to worse, and the hours at this new job would be MUCH better than the last. Wish me luck!
Hope all went well on your job interview. I am so happy for you that you are doing so well after your surgery. It has to be all that positive ATTITUDE. I can remember when we bought our first house and how exciting it is. Like you, I wanted to plant everything everywhere. I think I raided everyones yard that we knew for starts on thier plants. You will get it all together.
Good morning everyone!!
Darrah...don't get too quick of a jump on planting things. You may want to check on the recommended dates for Indiana for what you got. Early bloomers (like Tulips) may be ok right now, but others (like iris') need to wait until the ground is safe from frost. They use to recommend waiting until after May 10th. Congrats on the new home. I know you have to be so excited!!
Courtney...A bread store may be a good place to try to get your breads/donuts from. At the end of the day, they usually have to mark them down even though they are still very fresh.
We're ready for our safety inspection. Whoo-hoo! Watch, they won't even come in the lab!! LOL!
You all have a great day!

Morning everyone!!!! I am working half day downtown today and then leaving at noon...and am working at home tomorrow....the basketball thing downtown makes driving a pain at rush hour And I work at the federal building-where the St Patricks parade begins...so I am deifitnitely avoiding that place tomorrow
i know from doing a benefit for my step son , most things have to go through main office with most places...write them a letter then go from there..might call a local store and ask and be for sure...they may give you a discount....i have a sister in law that works at sysco i will ask her as well....
beautiful beautiful day out here...
