crap
ed has a leak and he will keep the jp and ng tubes in and what trashy stuff they bring up...said they would wait till weds and do the xray again as they believe it will heal itself, well i think they should be able to go back monday and know if it has done anything and not wait till weds if they need to go back in then get it done..he may have also been put back on oxygen he was also barely able to do that breathing machine so i am on my way up there before i go to work to have him do it...i did not sleep well at all, and finally i just got up and showered and am on my way out the door...dogs cats and birds are fed and out the door i go will call my daughter to come let the dogs out a few times...i have my after noon meds in my pocket and my evening ones sitting here ready for me...prayers prayers and more prayers please....
I am soo sorry to hear about Ed. I hope his leak heals quickly.. he has been through so much and i am sure he is so ready to get out of there. as soon as they get him unhooked from all that stuff so he can be up and around his breathing will improve. My prayers are with you both. Keep us posted when you can. I look for your post every morning.

Angie,
If there is anyone who deserves a break, it's Ed. We're all keeping him...and you...in our thoughts and prayers. I know perforation can hurt like a burger. I hope they have him on some good pain meds. Where was the leak at? Mine were where the pouch connects to the intestines. Air getting in would cause pain up high on the left side, right below the collar bone (about where you put your hand for the Pledge of Allegiance). Any liquids caused pain right below the rib cage on the left side. Both times, mine did close up on their own...but overnight...not 4-5 days.
When Ed gets out and gets on his feet, we'll have to have a celebration night!!
If there's anything I can do for you, drop me an email or give me a call (if you still have my #).
