The worst thing for me so far has been chewing those nasty vitamins. I was actually avoiding them a few days because I just couldn't tolerate them. I've used the Centrum and the Flintstones. This week I bought the Equate childrens multivitamin + Iron at Walmart (thought I'd try because they were cheeper that Flintstones) They don't taste to bad! Now I don't mind taking these.

I bought a pill crusher at the drug store and crush my chewables and take them with apple sauce or other fruit or sometimes with a spoon full of yougart. Dan

I bought the Optisource ones from Walgreens.com (can't get them in the store yet). They aren't cheap ($25 for a 30 day supply) but they are pretty tasty actually! I had to try one when they showed up....they taste just like the orange flavored children's chewable tylenol! Plus, according my doc's office anyway, they eliminate the need to take a B12 supplement in addition to the vitamins.

Leann....you still have to take Vit B12 either sublingual or by shot after RNY due to the fact that we no longer have the intrinsic factor that allows B12 absorption through our small intestine. It is not something we can take orally for the rest of our lives.

Hi Jan, It took me awhile to find a decent one as well. I make sure that I NEVER run out! Jaimee

The first 3 months I took liquid GNC multis... In a cranberry base the taste was doable.. then I switched to CVS multis with Iron... They are not coated and melt in an ounce of water within 5 minutes.. Good luck finding what works for you but do continue to take your vitamins or you will have VERY BAD Problems... not taking vitamins is NOT an OPTION!! Linda
