NEWEST EDDIE

today his NG and JP tubes should all be coming out i am thinking...those are giving him some problems plus only ice chips all week....he is fine with the ice chips not been in much of a mood even if he were able to eat and none to happy about starting over either...wonder if he can speed back up to where he was ? meaning will he actually start all over cos the pouch has not changed and only need the intestines to heal from the newest surgery....I can say right now if he is able to he is gonna eat...and i know it...he may be a good boy for a couple of weeks but thats gonna be that...but shhhhh i did not say a word...he is retaining water big time his hands are so big and i think he has gained 40 pounds...wow.....

Awe....I feel so bad for Ed. I'm sure he'll lose tha****er retention quickly. Everytime I get an IV bag, I'd gain 5 lbs! 40 lbs eorth may take a week, but it'll be a quick week. When I had my revision, I didn't stick to 1-2 oz for a full 6 weeks. It won't take the full time to get back to where he was. Tell him to keep his chin up. Things will straighten up for him! Sherri

I am just soooo glad he is progressing!!!! I gained 9 pounds in the hospital.. IV's swelling and force feeding from the nutritionilist who just didnt get it.. Linda

Glad to hear he is getting along better. With all tha****er retention you may have to have him sleep in the bath tub when he gets home. Or put him out on the front lawn. lol I am praying that he will get back on the losing side real soon. Dan
