It's Friday
Good morning everyone, I am really up early today, my son came in and told me he saw something white hit his window it woke him up, I had been hearing alot of hitting on the walls but didn't want to get out of bed to see. It is my siding, man what a mess, the wind did some real damage here last night. Have a good weekend everyone.
Good morning everyone! I am so glad today is Friday. This being back to work is enough to wear a person out (hmmm..maybe that's why they call it 'work'?).
Bill & I were going to start our walking at the mall after work yesterday but when I got home, I was soaked..from walking from my building at work to my truck...WITH AN UMBRELLA! We opted to staying home & me getting into some dry clothes. Tonight, we're gonna go get our taxes started (gotta beat that April 15th deadline!) so won't be doing it tonight either. This weekend looks pretty busy, as does Monday after work. Why is it that when you decide you want to do something, everything comes up to block the path? In other words, life happens!
Lisa..hope your home owner's insurance covers siding. Mine did in Clinton and I ended up having to replace it twice because of hail. By doing the work myself though I was able to also get storm doors.
You all have a terrific day!

In reference to your question: " Why is it that when you decide you want to do something, everything comes up to block the path" I have often asked myself this same question and although I do not like the answer, it always comes back to me: Because I want to find some reason not to do it. This especially true when it comes to my exercise. I know I really have to work it in around the "other" priorities I have. Just a little something to think about Sherri.
Good luck on your taxes. I finished mine a few weeks ago and do not have to worry about that again until next year. That is except writing a check to the Governor.
Dan
Dan,
I guess I should clarify. I already do 2 miles on the treadmill every morning and walk 2-5 miles at work every day. It's not like I don't get any exercise. If I didn't get any in, I doubt I would have lost 165 lbs. Going to the mall is added above and beyond all that. I wanted to do it basically because it would be a fun for Bill & I to walk together (and to add exercise to his daily 2 miles on the treadmill). I tend to have a pretty active life though....in the past 6 months we've had 2 grandkids born (making that 4 grandkids), we just got back from a week in Vegas, we owned a bar besides me having a full-time job, we have a niece about to get married, in 18 months I've had 3 surgeries and 15 endo's plus Bill has had eye surgeries. Plus...we have several friends and family that we entertain or are busy with. Bill & I make jokes about how flexible we are time-wise..and how we have to be. Something tends to come up if we try to make plans in advance no matter what that plan is. It was 2 weeks after the hot tub was in before we were actually able to enjoy it without having to get out of it for one reason or another. My priorities are fine. Life is just really hectic, that's all.
With the loss of $$ from the bar, at least we don't have to write a check to the government this year. Good luck with that.

Becasue I am partially deaf I normally dont hear anything but I HEARD the wind last night it kept me awake alot looking out the windows knowing I was going to have damage somewhere... I will be looking around this morning...
I am having lunch with my coworkers today... FOR the first time since knee surgery I will take a couple bags of white castles (they want) and a cake I baked them for being sooo good to me while I have been off.. and I will eat lunch with them.. 1 fish pattie, 2 cheese sticks, and I will be stuffing myself!!!
