OT: Medicare + Secondary

Greetings all. Does anyone on Medicare have the offered supplemental insurance? I guess it's like secondary insurance. I've seen the list of companies they use, but I'm curious what your thoughts are on it. thanks! Sally

Hi Sally, I am on Medicare and Medicade but losing Medicade at end of month do to the new medicine crap.St.V's is now a hospital of choice for us on Medicare.Good Luck.Cindy

Cindy - you are loosing Medicaid completely? because they are no longer convering medications?? I have Medicare for primary and Medicaid for secondary. Whatever meds Medicare is not covering Medicaid is. Plus I still recieve all my other Medicaid benefits. I'm curious because I've heard of a couple of other people in Indiana that are being restricted on their Medicaid benefits if Medicare is their primary but I'm not and I find that kinda odd. I asked my caseworker and she too found it odd that people were being restricted because her office has recieved no notification of any type of restrictions on Medicare/Medicade benefits other then Medicare is to pick up more then they have before (including meds).
