HELP
Deb.
The bags are from all of us so we should all help when we can... IF no one steps forward, (I cant right now because of my knee) I will mail them to people who provide addresses or we can pass them out and people can take them to their support groups... every one has someone ready to go in. and they are not just for one hospital...
YOU have done a great service and deserve for all you have done for us mentally, physically and emotionally...
Got to go... Dr appointment and pain and torture appointment.. (PT)

Hey Lisa...that would be great. Linda suggested that we hand out a few bags at the next clothing exchange so that people have them-then they can volunteer at a moments notice to deliver. And lots a folks know people from their support groups and they can volunteer to take the gift bags to those that they know.
Although I love doing the deliveries....sometimes running up to Carmel 3-4 times a week gets to be a bit much when it's 50 miles round trip
And a special welcome back to Miss Peggy (our Melting Angel). She will be helping out now too-in fact, she will be doing several deliveries this week-THANKS PEGGY!!!!!
Deb,
Thank you so much for all you have done/do. You are a true , & I really appreciate you.
( I wish I lived closer. I went to SG this past Tues. at Carmel & it was 90 miles round trip- with no stops. Boy, was I tired when I got home. -
Lisa, call me when you plan to go, & I will see if I can ride up with you.
I will be glad to help make them also. Maybe we could do it at the next clothing exchange? Then, it would be done, & anyone that could deliver
would have them ready to go.
Thanks again sweetie!!!!!
(((hugs)))
Ellen
Hi Ellen That was what Linda suggested. And it's a great idea. So the next clothing exchange-we are handing out gift bags to those having upcoming surgeries....and we are going to have those who know of others having surgery take some home with them so can can deliver them. Makes it more personal that way too.
I am so allergic to the cold...I just cringe when I have to go out in the cold weather. I think once it warms up more...delivering the bags should not be a problem. I just hate breaking out in hives everytime I step out the door
