a question that i hope i can find an answer to

i was wondering if there is an private programs that will help cover the surgery?????? i was also wondering how do you apply for medicare or medicaid???? please help me i am trying to get this surgery done and i am running out of options any info would help me

Hi Amanda. As far as Medicare, you can only get it if you are retired or on Social Secutiy Disability, and even then there is a 2 year waiting period. To apply for Medicaid you need to go to your local divison of family and children. You just fill out the application then they will set up an appointment for you. But be prepared for a long wait for approval/denial. I'm on Social Security disabilty and have been denied medicaid many times. It's a BIG hassle. Good luck! Sally
