Morning All! Good Luck on the test today Courtney. Darrah today will be the first day of your new life! I am so excited for you! I am trying something different today.....I keep having severe pain and stomach upset when I drink my milk so...I am giving it up for a couple of days and see if that is my problem. I can substitue other proteins so I won't be worried about that. I hope you all have a Fantastic Day! ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) Marianne

Good Morning All! Darrah, how exciting for you I will be thinking of you today. Courtney I hope all goes well with your ultrasound and they get you fixed up really quick. Marianne, I had the same problem with milk, apparently I am lactose intolerant now, I drink Dean's lactose and fat free milk. It's in the light blue carton and I get it at Walmart. I don't ever have any problems with it. Have a blessed day!

I had my gall bladder surgery about 11 or 12 years ago...the best thing I could have done!! Marianne, I had the same problem with milk after my surgery, too. One of the nutritionist said that some people become lactose intolerant to milk, but not all dairy products, after surgery. She said that it had to do with the concentration and that milk travels faster. I am now mixing 100% Whey Protein with Lactose Milk and having no problems. Angie C.

Good morning (afternoon) everyone. Managed to crawl out of bed again today, can't wait to start feeling better. Darrah, I will be thinking of you, best of luck to you sweetie. Good luck on your tests Courtney, hope you feel better soon. Yesterday, I drank my carnation protein drink, and then had to lay down and sleep for nearly 5 hours. I felt bloated and I felt like something was going to bust.....yucky feeling. Going to drink protidiet drinks for a while now. Also, I wish that I could tolerate sleeping on my side, my back is aching so much. Hope everyone has a great day. Melissa
