Denied, but approved, go figure.--WLprogram w/ Dr. Olsen

Leave it to the HMOs. I just heard that I was denied for WLS, but approved for an 18mo physician weight loss program with Dr. Even Olsen. Then if I fail at this, then they will consider surgery. Makes perfect sense to me. So, does anyone out there have any experience with this program with Dr. Olsen? What should I expect? Thanks, Tania

Dr Olsen and St Francis has a good program. But it's like any diet regime. If you are addicted to food...ya always will be But you will learn a lot of things that will help you out after your lap-band since you will have to control your diet more with that surgery than you do with the other surgeries...so it's a good thing ANDDDDDDDD since ya don't need to loose much (you are already so lovely )....maybe this will be something you can stick to and not even need surgery...wouldn't that be a pleasant surprise?????? ANDDDDDDDD you can post your progress and food tips on here to help us out some I hear she has a very good program focused on changing how we deal with food choices and exercise. So any helpful hints and advice for the rest of us would be greatly appreciated
