There you are Deb! Didn't see you post yesterday, was a little worried! Pre op testing = ick. The Barium made me feel sick all day. I tried out the sublingual B-12 tablets I found at walmart. I was just getting the liquid form there but decided to try these. They take FOREVER to disolve and taste GROSS! So back the the liquid that says on the box "tastes great." Enjoy this frosty morning! I'm going to finish taking my meds, and then probably go walk a dog for a bit.

I get my B-12 sublingual from GNC and they dont seem to have a taste.. takes about 20 minutes to disolve unter my tounge.. when I want to hurry it up I drink a cup of hot tea first and open everything up.. then it doesnt seem to take so long to disolve.. I didnt have to have the upper GI.. my dr accepted an endoscopy I had a few weeks prior.. YEA!!! Good luck your day is coming!!!! Linda

Don't get too attached to the liquid kind if it's oral and not sublingual. The RNY bypasses the part of the small intestine that absorbs Vit B12 and you have to take it under the tongue or by monthly shots for the rest of your life. I just do the shot once a month and forget about it after that

Good Morning, Everyone!! Hope you all have a wonderful day! I am feeling much better after a small set back on Tuesday. I was unable to keep anything down , so they did an Endoscopy on me. It just so happened that my pouch outlet was only 2mm in size!!! So, they dilated it to 15 mm. I have to go back in 2 weeks and do it again, but it is not bad and something that I can deal with. Good Morning Beautiful People! It is a beautiful sunny day out and I am starting to feel motivated!! YEA! My energy is finally starting to pop out! I hope to get the bedroom straightened out and start getting the house back in order! My goal is to get the house together this week and start back on my ebay business next week to build my stamina up for going back to work in 3 weeks and keep me in great shape. I went out for a few things yesterday at Walmart and wore a 26/28 top that was too tight before and am in my size 28 jeans (stretch) so I was a happy camper....best of all my leather blazer actually buttoned and I felt so good! Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since I used my Celebrex for my knees...I had to stop it a week before surgery and right now I don't feel as if I need it so I am so happy about that!! I am amazed at the changes I have seen so far......I get around so much better already...just getting in and out of the car was smoother and my hubby said I am really getting up from sitting and getting around so much peppier! An added perk...this surgery seems to have had a wonderful affect on our relationship, I think Jon was so worried about something happening to me for surgery and now realizes how committed I am to being healthy that the wonderful love we share has grown even deeper.
