Good morning everyone! It is so terrific to have all the worries of Tiff's labor behind us now! I'm back to work and I know I'm going to be dragging butt by the time today is done. Too little time with too much to do! I sent in a new pic of me to get my avatar changed. Oh...I was printing off pics of the baby and Chance (5 yr old grandson) saw a pic of me with him when he was born. He pointed at the pic and wanted to know who that was. I told him that it was him when he was a baby. So he said 'No Mamaw. Who is that lady?' LOL!!!! I told him it was me and he laughed and said 'Uh-uh, that's not you Mamaw!' I had to add that pic to my WLS album on Picture Trails! You all have a fantastic day! Sherri

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I sure wish this weather would make its mind up! And I'm wishing for spring, these $200+ a month gas bills have GOT to go! Hehehehe I surgery isn't for another 16 days, but I've already started packing my bag. Can we say I'm excited???? Do you think I could wear my tennis shoes for walking the halls instead of slippers? I'm not a fan of slippers, and I'd hate to buy them, wear them for two days and then never wear them again. I can put my shoes on without untying them. Or I have my birkenstock sandals I can put on without bending over. So I have packed: 3 pairs of panties Robe (no gown, ill wear the hospital one) my trusty sneakers Lose fitting pants and shirt for the ride home Deoderant Toothbrush/paste Am I missing anything? I'll be taking my pillow with me that morning.

HI Darrah...I'm happy for you, and your time is just around the corner! Sneakers would be good if you can just slip them on...but whatever you do, don't go barefoot!!! There was a few of us there that didn't realize what those hard floors would do to our bodies, and were in for ultrasounds because of pains in the lower legs and they thought they might have been blood clots!!! Don't forget your shoes whatever you choose to wear will be better than nothing!!! Best wishes to you on your WL Journey!!! "HUGZZZZZZZZZZ" God Bless...Shari

Good morning everyone--At least we did not get 27 inches of snow like the east coast!!!! My kids are mad because they just want to go sledding however I'm very happy about our winter so far--no complaints here! Darrah-- you are excited to get going--I did not wear slippers at the hospital , you just have to make sure that you can slip on whatever you are wearing easily. Even the robe will be somewhat hard with IV's in you -- hope its a really loose fittling arm robe. Take care everyone!
