From the horses mouth (maybe a pony now)
I survived!!! whew!!! I did have the "wite to cwy" but only needed to when the witch from PT who thought it was her job to get the total 90 degree bend the first day while she was on duty.. I told on her to the DR!!!!!
I have had worse surgeries.. and I do ache!! but it is the side effects that bother me most...Not doing for myself.. being confind to one level of my house at a time.. waiting for someone to help me with something... not showering... SOON
Dan you will be able to handle it... the pain isnt so bad... we have had worse days, like right before a major snowstorm or after walking the mall for 4 or 5 hours...
I want to THANK the lady that brought my flowers..(signed Hoosier Losers) I wish you had come into the room.. I only kept the door shut to keep the noise out.. when you are deaf... everything irritates if you can't make out what is being said... Loved the flowers and they were instant door openers for conversation about the surgery to a few of my overweight nurses and deffinatly to the nurse who was 3 years out!!! she was glad to have someone to talk to and she looked sooo good.
Love to all my friends who visted and have called... sooo good to have friends that care... I have sisters who still havent called to check on me..

It is so good to see you back posting here today. I have missed you. I know this surgery comes with pain and some discomfort, but it like WLS is something that I have to have done. Of course I have some time before that day comes.
I hope you have a speedy recovery and will be up and running around soon. You will continue to be in our prayers.
Dan
