New Grandbaby...FINALLY!

Rodney David Estes Jr. (RJ) was born on 02/10/06 at 6:01 pm. Little RJ weighed in at 8 lbs 3.6 oz and was 21 inches long. Tiffany was able to get her tubal done soon after delivery so RJ is definately the last grandchild from Tiffany. Chance (age 5) and Myranda (21 months) are both excited about having a baby brother. Shyanne (4.5 months) is too young to care that she has a baby cousin but I'm sure she will be the one RJ grows up playing with. I'll be bringing Chance and Myranda up to the hospital to see Mommy, Daddy, and RJ this afternoon. Thank you all for all your prayers through this. It was a very rough labor for Tiffany but they were able to keep her from hemoraging this time. I am just so relieved that her tubes are tied and I never have to see my baby girl in that kind of pain again. I know with her weight, she has a good chance of other physical pain in the future, but at least not from childbirth. Thanks again... Sherri ps...pics are up!

Dan, Lisa B, Lisa D, Mellissa, Ellen, and all who have sent me emails... Thank you so much. Mom & baby got to come home yesterday. By the time they were released, we got something to eat (Tiff wanted some 'real' food) and went by the store for formula, it was ~9:30 when we got them settled at home...and ~10:30 by the time we got home. It was kinda hard to wind down so I am the one that got very little sleep last night! RJ is such a good baby that Tiff probably got more sleep than I did! LOL! Anyway, everyone is doing fine. We appreciate all the prayers. Sherri

Congratulaltions!! Aren't grandbabies the best things? Glad to hear that she didn't have any major complications and was able to get her tubes tied while she was in the hopsital. Have fun spoiling them!!! God bless you all.
