New to the area

Greetings to all! I just moved here recently from Seattle and was wondering if there was a support group in the Carmel area?

Welcome to the Indiana boards Steven....congrats on your journey and success....you look great! I tried to attend the St Vincents support group meetings...but they only allow St Vincents people to attend.(Something to do with their funding..their patients pay for the support meetings in the cost of their surgery and it's only for them). However, if you can go along with another St Vincents patient as their "support" person...then it's ok to go. That's how I went...as a 'support' person for someone else. St Francis has a 6 month and out post-op group that is smaller than the large groups, deals with 6 months & out issues and is closed to all but actual WLS patients (no pre-ops or family members-so the meetings focus on the patient). This is held every other Thursday and is open to all. It is held at the St Francis Baraitric Center at US 31 & Southport Rd. Feel free to email me for the dates if you are interested.

maybe call st v and tell them your problem then hope they bend some..we have the 6 month at st f and anyone can go. welcome to INDY...

Clarion allows anyone to attend their Support Group. They are held the 1s2 & 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 5:30 pm. They are located off of 465 & 71st Street. I would love to see you there.
