I have a question for all you lovely ladies and gentlemen.

I never thought I would be posting a question like this, but I am concerned that maybe I am losing too fast. I used to laugh when I saw posts like this but I have lost 14 pounds in the last 8 days. I am very thankful for this problem but don't want to jeopardize my health. I am just 4.5 pounds away from reaching my 100 pounds lost and don't want to do anything to jeopardize that either but long time health is more important. Does this sound like soemthing I should be concerned about or just sit back and enjoy it while it lasts? Also how do I insert the little smiley/cartoon icons into my messages on this board? I know how to on wlsindy.com but didn't see anyplace here but maybe I just missed it. Thanks for your assistance in this.

Connie, To the right of the screen (when you are posting), there's a 'toolbar'section. Under it, there are two more sections: Title Images ad Message Emoticons. Click in the area where the upside down white triangle cut-out is in the appropriate blue box. Type in the stokes for the icon you want. For instance : beer : together makes: As to weight loss...I'd enjoy it while you can. Chances are, you won't lose at that rate for very long and you probabyl just went through a little stall. As long as you are doing everything that you are suppose to do and you aren't anywhere near your goal, I wouldn't worry about losing too quickly. You are in the honeymoon stage. Sit back and relax!! If you look at my profile...I have my loss history on there....some of the months were all at once...July 2005 for example, was 10 pounds in 3-4 days. A good rule of thumb is to weigh once a week, first thing in the morning, after urinating (this is how hospitals take weights when they are concerned with fluid retention and need accurate weights). The body can literally go thru a 5+ pound weight change in a day...this is normal as fluids enter and leave the body on a regular basis. Congrats on the loss and keep on doing what you are doing...it's working

thank you everyone. I am glad to hear you think everything is okay. I was sure it was but wanted to ask the experts since I have never had a two pound a day weight loss before, let alone 8-10 days in a row. Usually it was .3 or .5 a pound a day so this is awesome!!!! I am praying it doesn't slow down til I at least make the 100 pounds. Sweet Tweety you are right, it is an awesome ride. Marianne I am glad to see you posting. Was just getting ready to pm you to see if you were okay. Martha thanks for your directions. I found them and they worked just fine. Thanks again. Hope to see all you losers in April.
