Putting my plan into action...

I spoke to Colleen at Dr. Evanson's office this morning. She needs a little more information from me, so I will be faxing her some stuff later today. According to Colleen, Aetna is tends to be pretty stringent about the 6 consecutive months of Dr. supervised diet. I see my PCP this afternoon, which is my second appointment for the 6-month requirement. I am hoping to have surgery in July/August. I cannot wait. I hope it goes by fast! I would like to do it sooner, but at least I get to drink at FanFair in June. haha

I had a horrible time with Aetna (POS II) . Was denied and finally had to request an external review which Aetna agreed to accept their decision. Started my plan in January and too****il August to get approved. They kept coming back with different things they needed. Couldn't just give it to me all in one letter/denial. But the fight was worth it. They paid quite a bit of the costs involved. Good luck with your plan.
