Happy Humping...oh sorry HUMP DAY!!
Good Morning Everyone!
Hope you are all off to a great start! I can't believe here I have all this time off work to get rested and I can't stay in longer!! That is the pits! I think I will stay up a little and try drinking some and then go back to .I am feeling better every day but still kinda puny! I honestly don't feel like I am losing any weight as I am still bloated and it feels like all I ever do is eat or drink..... I am having Jon pick me up some isopure protein drink today at GNC ....I know my protein is not what it should be and I really struggle getting the milk supplement all in each day. I am beginning to suspect the milk has something to do with my bloating.....did anyone else have this problem? I am really enjoying not having to get up and go out in this cold weather we have been having. That.....I could get used to! Well you all have a fabulous day and keep blooming! Hey....I got my profile page here pretty!!They did an awesome job!

Marianne
i hear many can not do milk after surgery....which would have to suck cos thats where i get most of mine. each day will get better and better and when your feeling better you will be ready to return to work, though it takes time, you will tire easy for some time to come...i still do protein drinks and bars myself, not every day but sometimes....
Marianne,
Glad to hear you are hope and doing well. I had a hard time with milk too, found out I was Lactose intolerant. I now mix my shakes with Lactose free milk, Dean's has one that isn't bad, I get it at Walmart. Also, I know they tell you to add powdered milk to get more protein, but that was horrible! I did it one time and ended up pouring it down the drain! Those first couple of weeks I would start drinking a shake as soon as I got up and then have another one as soon as I finished. That way I made sure I had my protein in for the day before I put any jello, broth, cottage cheese or anything else in my mouth. It will get easier and soon it will just be a habit. Keep walking it will help with the bloating. I looked like I was getting ready to deliver triplets for about 5 days after surgery. You probably won't feel like you are losing any weight for a couple of weeks. I know I felt like I should wake up from surgery and be 50 pounds lighter but it didn't happen! Keep up the good work!
Good morning everyone!!!
I hope everyone's day started off good. Mine did, till I got into work. My instrument went bust so I am going to lose 2 days work from it. Aggrevating since I'm trying to get this done between baby being born (nope, not yet!) and before vacation (2/25). Tiffany said she was very energetic yesterday...said she felt like cleaning her kitchen from top to bottom. Hmmmm...remember ladies back to your pregnancies? The day before I went into labor with each of mine, I was a cleaning fool. Can one hope that today will be the day???
Only got in 2.4 miles yesterday. I spent alot of time at my pc working on a report and stuff.
You all have a fantastic day!
Sherri
I am still wondering what Courtney was thinking
Hi all....happy Hump Day!!!!!!!!! 148 pounds and holding Going to look into getting a tread mill...giving the recumbant bike to my poor sister...she ran over her foot and leg with a motorized dolly at her work a month ago and broke several bones and tore her ligaments (this is the 2nd time she has done this...different foot/leg...and she broke her arm last year...told her she just has one limb to go )....anyhow...she needs to ride an exercise bike to keep her thigh muscle strong while her lower leg heals. And I prefer to walk...so I am trying to get a treadmill from another family member...maybe then I can loose this last 8 pounds and be at goal
