RESTAURANT CARD???
I do not have one....but the restaurants do not all honor them...I just ask up front if they allow ordering off the senior or kids menu....most do...and if you speak to a manager...they usually let you. But some places won't budge...they want their money Won't be getting anything from me if they won't budge on it
Funny you should bring this up! Was it at TGI Friday's by chance? I'm actually in the process of gathering information from some of the larger chains regarding their policy for customers who've had WLS. I have a page on my website (albeit a small one right now) with the answers I've gotten. I actually signed on just to to start a thread complaining about the response I got from the parent company of Friday's, that's why I asked. LOL
I'm sorry they blew off your request, I would have demanded to speak to a manager and left on the spot if it wasn't resolved in a reasonable manner.
I went to a little family spaggetti place once (humm it is now out of business) In Plainfield, and I asked her if I could get a 1/2 order of something because i would not be able to eat the whole thing.. she KNEW I had the surgery and was reall happy for me.. and she said no but you can get a box and take the rest home... SHE WAS THE OWNER!!!
Most of the sime I get a side of something and eat off my husbands plate...
Hey girls WE ARE NOW CHEAP DATES!!!

It is sooo ironic that you posted this. I went to Red Lobster with my best friend last night and was told by the resturant manager that I could not use my card that i presented to her for the kids menu because they keep inventory of their food, and since I am over the age of 10, it would be wrong to the company....ohhhh I was heated
it all sounds like insincerity and a bunch of BULL**** to me....
