3 Month Check Up Today

Well I said some good news today, have lost 76 lbs and I can now drink Cafeen Free Diet Cola in moderation. That is one thing I have missed more than anything else. Does not bother me a bit. Actually I started drinking it last week but got confirmation it was ok if I could handle it today. Everything else is great. Dr Cacucci gave me a mini talk about my smoking, but that was nothing compared to the last time I saw her when she smelled it on me when she walked thru the door. Today we reached an understanding about my bad habit. I do intend to get off the darn things again soon. So I am a happy camper tonight. Celebrated with a crab tossed salad tonight. I am now on the next food chart and get my 40z now. I also got fluid taken off my knee today and a wonderful shot of cordozone (sp??). That is so much fun. I have to have it done every 90 days. I hurt a lot more today since I do not have so much fat hanging onto my knee. Ann said she thought I was going to take a swing at the Dr when he started moving that big needle around inside my knee. So after such a fun day it now time to try and get some sleep. Dan

DAN WOW!!! Amazing, Great job! I can not wait to try a sip of soda!!!! I am only 9 weeks post op and around 50 lbs lost, so I know how excited you must be at your stage! Keep up the good work and have a small sip for me ! By the way check the post for April clothing exchange, hope to see ya there. Dan your doing great, I don't have my 3 month tell March 6 wounder if my doctors office made a mistake and skipped a month. Wow now I am jelious. Well off to work. Lisa

Lisa They must have made a mistake. You might want to call them. It was 3 months today that we had our surgery. No need to be jealous, just get back on your plan and make it work for you no matter what. Also remember I was lots and lots bigger than you when I had surgery. Dan

great news...great JOB... with all my research on this surgery, the ones that stayed off the cokes, seemed to have a better success rate, i know i am sure there are many who have done just as well with it.... SMOKING!!!!! you bad bad boy....LMAO i know we had this surgery for our health...and smoking is sure not a good thing.... oh my ed had the fluid off his knee a few times...ooh tubes and tubes of it...he finally got this shot he had to one in once a week for 3 weeks to get this shot and he has had no problems since....and i am sure the weight loss is also a good thing

Tell Ed that I talked to my Dr yesterday about the lubricant shots and it was his opinion that they would not work on me since I have bone on bone in my knee. They did take new X-rays just to be sure. So when I get down to 250 I get a new knee. Then Linda K and I can go out and do the marathons, now I am LMAO. Glad to hear that Ed is back to work. Way to go!!! I had my first pepsi in November... it was leaded!! with caffene and suger.. took me 6 hours to drink it but I enjoyed it.. barely ever have it now... just wanted to if I could. My knee surgery is Monday.. Dr told me shots wouldnt help me thats why inever had one.. YEA!!! that would have freaked me out big time!! OPPs got to shower and go to wrk!! I wont even know your skinny butt in April!!! and to think " I Knew you when!!" Best, Linda
