CHALLENGE?
I don't get it....I thought the patients are supposed to get up and move after surgery. They always made the knee replacements get up and start their walking the day of surgery (just like the heart patients, WLS patients, etc, etc). If nothing else, to prevent blood clots I mean I realize ya won't be dancing the Jig....but are you going to have a restriction on your walking?
My sister works at Diamond Chain...3 weeks ago she was using an electric truck (the kind with the handle that ya load with stuff and then use buttons to make it move). She was in front of it...she was supposed to be in the back of it. Anyhow...she was on an incline and it got away from her and pinned her against a wall. She may have a ruptured ligament and they may have to do some surgery to repair it. She is walking around with a walker and she is trying to get her hubby to rent a wheelchair....cuz her arms and back are hurting from the walker. She is not allowed to put any weight on her foot because they don't want the ligament detaching from her bone all together. I saw it yesterday...and it looks OUCHIE even after 3 weeks.
So prayers to ya both....I hope you recover quickly and are up and about at break-neck speed. Ya don't want to miss out on the joys of house cleaning do ya????????
