SO very confused, tired from thinking so much....
Melissa,
My surgeon is Dr. Mandlebaum and I was very pleased with him. He's not a chatty person but he knows his business and I have done great. I was very assured that he was more than capable of doing the surgery and made me feel very secure in my decision. I suppose I went more for the abilities than the bedside manners. I remember when I first met with Dr. Mandlebaum that it was in a group and not alot of one on one time. But, at the time of surgery he is more one or one with you and very attentive to your needs. Also, St. Francis has great nurses and were very good to me.

Thanks Julie, and thanks to everyone for you advice.
I decided yestrday that I will stay with Dr.Maundelbaum. I think it may have been my own personal fears that led me to research the other choices. I know 2 people that he performed their surgeries and they adore him. He does have 16 years experience w/laproscopic surgery, and his track record for bariatric surgery is excellent.
So it's decided, and my surgery is on Feb.14th!!!
Now, I have to try to hold it tegether, so that my family can hold it together. It;s hard to do.
THANKS!
Melissa
