What are you bringing to the exchange?
Deb,
Don't know what I'm bringing for the exchange yet...food or clothes. I had brought most of my clothes to Linda's before Christmas. I'm not ready to give up my 14's yet so it will most likely be mainly summer clothes.
I will try to get by the Cash & Carry on New York before the exchange to pick up the condiment cups & lids. When I was a newbie, I liked the 1 oz size so I could freeze the extra soup and take out what I wanted (usually had 1 oz soup with 1 oz mashed potatoes). I could pick up both sizes...1 2 oz.
I'll try to get to the dollar stores to pick up some other stuff too. Gotta see how time goes.

I hope to be able to attend. My son is having surgery on the 20th so it all depends on how he feels....and if Daddy can get off work.
I am bringing clothing ranging from 3-4 X to large.........I will get them to Deb if I can not make it.
If I come I will most likely bring a surprise for a dish.........depends on how much time I have to prepare it.....LOL
Take care all...Love and miss all of you!!!!!
God bless...Peggy
I want to go but still need to figure out how to get there. Yes I am a blond, I have never been to Mooreville, I could not get into mapquest so must of not typed it right, I tried expedia because I like the step by step directions but it wouldn't show 20 Star lane on how to get to Mooreville, so what is the sit for mapquest is it .com or .net. I have 2x to 20 and a couple of formals I even had a shirt that my oldest thought was his because he thought it would be something he liked with stips, but it is a 2X. lol I think I have shoes to. And some stuff for the gift bags. SoI will take a crack at the map again. As far as what I bring well I am not sure yet.

Hi, I am new to the Indiana board...I have been exploring the obesity help site for a while now but just now realized there is one for Indiana...that being said, I was just wondering if new people who are pre-op are allowed to come to your exchange? I have been trying for a year to get the surgery and have been denied 3 times but the last time sounded real hopeful as far as what they need....I hope to be a loser soon too. you all sound so nice and I would love to meet you all. thanks Regina
Hi Regina
Welcome to the Indiana boards!!! The clothing exchange is for anyone involved in a WLS journey...even if you have not had surgery...even if you are on a weight loss plan and have chosen NOT to have surgery It is free and we strongly encourage all pre-ops to come....due to the amount of larger size clothing we get...we need to be able to pass them on to those in need of sprucing up their wardrobe...and we know there are a lot of people just starting their journey...and many more who are waiting who could benefit from the clothes that are available.
We also have a pitch-in lunch...so bring a covered dish if you like...and come share in the good time!!! You will never meet a greater bunch of people!!! It is not a requirement to bring any clothes or food...just bring yourself and join us for a few hours of good company and see what we are all about.
The address is listed in the prior post up there...make a map and come on out!!!
