Need some Input please..

I am schedualed tomorrow to go have a Stomach X-Ray to see what is causing me pain. I had a perforated Ulcer once after my RNY surgery and I am feeling some pain in that area again.
Is it alright to have a stomach x-ray for Bariatric surgery Pts? Is it going to show anything? I know we usually have scopes but an x-ray was ordered,. Is this a good idea or not? Thank You in advance for input..
