Having trouble eating chicken

I had my RNY on July 27,2011 and cannot eat chicken in any form, it feels like a lead balloon and I have to throw it up. I've tried canned, boiled, baked, fried w/o skin--dark and white meat.
But I can eat medium steak and baked tilapia goes down the easiest. Has anyone else had this problem?

Oh yeah! I sure did. While everyone else was saying they could eat chicken rather than most other meats, it was the one that I struggled with. It will get better.
Good Luck

I'm almost 3 years out and still have a lot of problem eating chicken.  Steak cooked medium goes down the best for me, as does pork.

Good luck!

Yes I do have a problem with chicken but mostly 2nd day left overs. To think back, I think that is the only thing that has caused me to dump. However I can eat chicken soup with veggies. I know soup isn't encouraged but I make it chunky and am doing okay with soups.

Yup Chicken is the worst for me...give me Pork, shrimp or steak....If I eat chicken, it has to be dark meat covered in a gravy or SF BBQ sauce or something...
