Anyone have plastics done in Fort Wayne by Dr. Brian Lee?  If so, results / thoughts?

I had a scar revision done by him numerous years ago (non-wls related) and absolutely loved him! Not sure about his skills as far as post WLS goes.

Deb - I was in Indy Monday for my 18 mo check.  I asked about plastics and they gave me 2 referrals
Janet Turkle MD  - turklemd.com
Carmel Cosmetic & Plastic Surgeons - carmelcosmeticsurgeons.com

I know I've see others from the Indiana OH board speaking well of Debra Bergman MD from Carmel Cosmetic & Plastic surgeons.

I know it's a 2 hour drive and don't know what kinda surgery you are interested in, but if it's bariatric related they will have more experience in Indy area.

Penny - I had my tummy and arms done on Tuesday by Dr. Lee.  Arms no pain.....but stomach really painful.  Had to do inverted T on stomach and extended a little into my back.  3 draining tubes.  Took off 10 pounds, but dr. said would look like 40 lbs. once swelling goes down.  Just have to get past this first week..    Asked him if my stomach worse he had seen........hesitated and said not THE worst, but it was bad.  5 hour surgery to do both.  23 hour stay.  I can give you more details at support group when I see you.

Deb,
Congratualtions on your plastic surgery.  That would be a dream come true for me and I have'nt even had the surgery yet.  Hopefully in early Dec.  How did you like Dr. Lee?  I've always heard that the lower lift is the most painful of all the plastic surgeries.  Do you only go to the support group on the 4th Tuesday?  Pam

Yes, I was there on 14th....think I sat in front of you with my daughter and son in law.  Liked Dr. Lee a lot.........had a few issues with his nurses before surgery and getting my labs done.  And stomach definitely worst surgery I think I've ever had..........arms no pain at all.    Hopefully another week and will all be forgotten for most part.     Deb

Hi!  Yes, I remember you.  Did your insurance pay for the procedure?  You will be so thrilled when the swelling goes down.  My niece had RNY and she was able to have a lower lift and she looks great.  She has kept her weight off too.  I wonder if having all that skin removed helps keep the weight off.

So you say the arms don't hurt?  Someone was telling me yesterday that they heard that the arm surgery is very painful.  Pam

Plastics was self-paid, no insurance.  So far arms don't hurt at all.  All stomach pain.

HI Deb,

I've known 2 people in Fort Wayne who had Dr. Severinac (Spelling?)and loved him for tummy tuck.  I'm thinking my neice had Lee after her RNY and liked him.  Good Luck
