BCBS of IL-- Approved or denied?

Hi!  Has anyone been approved or denied by this particular insurance company? And for which surgery? My surgeon will be submitting for lap-band approval probably no later than next week for me.  If you were denied, why?  Thanks!!  Laura :)

Hi Laura I have them thru my husbands work and it took about 2 weeks, make sure you have everything 3 month food list, 3 month life style change, if you have been going to a gym or doing weigh****chers they want copies of everything. Without the 3 month supervised weight loss it will be tuff gettin approval

Hi!  I actually did a six month supervised diet/exercise program.  I'm pretty sure everything is in order and ready to send.  Seeing new doctor's psychiatrist and dietician tomorrow.  Already saw them at previous doctor's practice.  I have been back and forth over whether I want to have the lap band or the rny.  I am back to wanting the rny now.  I will talk to them about it tomorrow.  Thanks for your help/info!!  Laura
