Do you mean Dr. Gomez, the bariatrician? I saw her in February.

I liked her she takes time to talk with you and seems to care. She focuses more on your diet and nutrition needs. Dr. Inman is a surgeon, once you are healed she really cannot do much more for you, that is why she is using Dr. Gomez for patient follow-up. She has you fill out questions regarding your diet and health issues, they weigh you (including analyzing your fat%), she goes over your labs results, and answers any questions you may have. If you are having problems with regain or nutritional/vitamin deficiency than she will address those issues.

I was not happy when I found out that I was not going to see Dr. Inman again, but once I met Dr. Gomez and thought about the reasoning behind the change, I felt better about the change. You may want to bring a copy of your labs she did mention that they were not always getting them sent in a timely manner from Dr. Inman's office.

I don't know who Dr. Gomez is.  However, there is a new PA to replace the old NP.  Obviously, these would not be the same as Dr. Gomez b/c a PA doesn't use the Dr.   The PA is replacing the old NP that we see for follow-ups after so many months out.  I have an appt with the PA in August.  I'll post when I meet this person.

I have seen both PAs in the office... I found them both to be very pleasant... These were just for follow-ups.  I was told I will see Dr. Evanson for my year follow up in November...
