Just checking in

Feels like forever since I've been on the boards. Life is so busy these days. I am 19 months out from my RNY. I am also 3 months post partum. Noah Andrew is just a complete joy. He has truly been the miracle baby we thought we'd never have. I have stabilized out on my weight loss and am officially down 103 pounds since my surgery. The weight just fell off after having the baby (never experienced that with my first two pregnancies) and it was great.

I'm working tons, lots of unexpected bills (isn't life grand?). My family is recovering after losing my sister in May. And I'm ready for school to start in a few weeks. My oldest will be a 5th grader this year (impossible to believe).

Hope life is going well for you all. I look forward to seeing some of you at the OH Convention in Cinci in August.

Hi, i'm checking in too! Things have been going well for me. Something I didn't tell alot of people was after Maggie died in the car accident last year, I developed eating disorder problems. I have gotten that stabilized, and definately on it's way out of the picture. I have been working with a therapist on eating issues and grief combined, and am relearning alot about eating and moods. Going to her is like lessons on how to use my mind better.

So I was almost 300 pounds preop, and got down to 145. I have gained back too much, but not nearly all. I am back on the road to where I want to be.

Linda it was wonderful in seeing you Saturday. I do understand, I battle the eating disorder. I gained 50 lbs back after my first surgery, and with my revision I have taken it back off, its not has easy as it was the first time.

I have you in my prayer.

Hugs
