pre op testing..

So I am going in for my Pre op testing on June 2nd at St V's...just wondering what all I can expect...thanks to all in advance for your advice!

Oh all kinds of fun stuff.. Like Blood Pressure... Upper GI, a test to see if you have this enzime in your tummy.. (you just drink a little stuff and wait then breathe into a tube..) A hyperventalation test.. you will be instructed how to used a spitometer..(sp) this tube that measures your breathing and you will be doing it several times during your  stay int he hospital.. When I went 5 years ago it was a pleasent day and I am sure they are getting better... Really wasnt bad.. just necessary to make sure you are tip top ready for this surgery!
