Ulcer

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced having an ulcer. I had a scope done on Monday and discovered I have an ulcer. It was inflammmed and made my exit hole too small so nothing was going down. Anyone else had this problem? I feel like I have a dull ache in my belly area a lot of the time and can't seem to get food to agree with me. Yesterday I had some pudding for breakfast, applesauce for lunch and kidney beans for dinner. The beans did not sit too well. I had juice for lunch today because I just don't want to eat anything. I see my doctor on Tuesday for a follow up. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or not.

Donna, I've had an ulcer and a stricture, at different times. It does not feel great. It is important you continue to try to eat though. Did your doctor put you on carafate or anything to protect your stomach from the ulcer?
