Home and doing good
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I am home and doing well.
I did have a bit of a scare. My blood pressure dropped rapidly yesterday afternoon and they could not get it back up over 81/44. They thought it might be internal bleeding and called the surgeon back. She is amazing by the way..... Dr. Bergman found that I was passing large clots thru my drains and not getting enough fluids. Yes, even on IV's I was dehydrated... imagine that. LOL
Then they bumped up the IV and had to lay flat. I blacked out and my pressure dropped even lower when sitting up. So I started drinking lots of water and praying.... and by 4 am... I had a normal blood pressure and finally got to take my first walk.
The surgery was about 3 hours long and she did a great job. Even swollen it looks wonderful. I am so pleased. She suggested that if I was ok to give up my belly button, she would do my upper abs too. I really needed it. So I didnt hestitate. I am proud to say it looks amazing and I feel very blessed.
I would recommend her to anyone considering plastics.
Huge hugz,
Tracy
