Snow stinks

Well the lossof rear end padding... I fell in the drive last evening and I just know I hurt.. my elbow my shoulder. (hope I didnt tear it) and my neck got jamed..  Now I have to get  up and get going to work again this morning hope the day is as easy as yesterday!!

I find myself walking around out there like Tim Conway's 100 year old man...  those of you that remember the Carol Burnett show will know what I'm talking about!

I fell in our drive last week (at 5:15 am). I had enough time to put my arm down to try to soften the blow. It did..for my butt...but my wrist was sore all week. Initially I was afraid I had broke it. Then comes yesterday...and I fell again! Yep, I stuck out the SAME arm and now my wrist is mad at me again. It's not swollen so I don't think it's broke..and I can move it..it just hurts to move it certain ways. Although I don't have any bruises, I can feel the effect of falling all over my body! I'm just extremely relieved that it didn't do anything to my tummy. A sore back, tush, and wrist, I can handle. Another tummy surgery??? I hope I don't have to find out any time in the near future!!

We think we finally figured out why I'm falling though. We had new gutters put in last spring and they have a guard on them to keep leaves from going in them. Icicles are all over the house now. We never had them like this before. It looks like the guard doesn't allow enough room for all melt off to go into the gutter so it's coming out over the edge of the gutter. The liquid that is making it down the gutter is falling onto the driveway instead of into the yard..so..it's dripping and freezing as it rolls onto the drive. It's a sheet of ice on the driver's side of the drive! So...think about it twice all if you think Unique's gutter guard system might be for you. I wish we'd never had them installed! So does my butt & wrist!
