Walking/Running Fundraisers & Races

Spring is almost here and people are talking about walking/running races.  Does anyone participate in these?  For racing or fundraising, doesn't matter. 

What is going on, when is it, and where:
-  March for Babies  April 25th   Downtown Indy. (Many other dates and locations)

There used to be a group of people that got together each Saturday to walk/hike/run at various parks. They also were very involved with area races as well.  I think they were associted with one of the bariatric programs in the Indy area.  They are a GREAT group of people...very friendly despite my not being associated with their program's "home."   It's been a while since I've been in touch and am not sure how to find them....but they are/were out there!
