Hi all! How are you doing today? I hope everyone's well. Come on, let's start having a daily thread again!

I am so proud of myself!!! I stood up for myself to a coworker at a staff meeting yesterday. My supervisor even seemed to support me. I didn't just aquiesce and give in. It felt so good. (Of course now she's pissed, but I don't feel rotten inside, so you take the good, you take the bad,...)

I wish I had been able to go to the exchange Saturday. I missed seeing you all. I had to work though. I requested it off, but didn't get it. What can ya do? You just gotta work it in this economy.

Of course, I'm not going to be at work today, so why am I up?  Oh yeah - that's right.  I'm sick, and slept most of the day yesterday, so now I'm having trouble sleeping.  Ugh.

Linda, good for you standing up for yourself at work!  Sometimes, that is so hard to do.  Hooray for you!  She can be pissed - she has the same pants to get glad in.

I'm really sorry I missed the exchange, but probably a good thing I didn't go since I was obviously coming down with the flu.

Hi all! I wasnt invited to the party...sigh... :) IU was in Ga with a friends babyshower though.

Im so frustrated because of the Dr, he seems to not listen. I told him about my eating problem, he hands me a paper and says to INCREASE my caloric intake to 1500 then I shoudl loose about 1lb a week...yes I said increase! Im a starvation eater... not by choice mind you I just forget to eat. he Is sending me to a dietition, so I guess its not all bad news...just SLOW starting.

I am off to bed after I get the kiddys off to school, I work graveyards So good night all! have a nice Day!

Had another upper endoscopy today.  Found the start of a small ulcer.  And it only took 6 sticks to get the IV started!  The staff at Clarian West is great.  I told them I would let one more nurse try and then I was going to do it without sedation.  It's pretty sad when you have built up a tolerance to the sedation meds!

I get to take it easy for the rest of the day and them I'm off to Florida to see my best friend!  I'm driving down with her mom so she doesn't have to make the long drive alone.  It's nice when you ride for free, stay for free, and get into Disney for free!  My best friend is a teacher and works seasonally for Disney.  I've got it made!
