It's time to plan our Holiday World/Splashin' Safari Day!

Sorry I've been MIA for so long.  Long story short:  Work has been insane! 

I just received my packet in the mail to reserve our spot for the OH Day at Holiday World.  Is there a day this summer that's better for anyone? 

The rate is a little higher this year:  $28.95 per person.  It's still a great deal though.  I have flyers on the new ride, Wildebeest, if anyone wants one!  Just message me your address and I'll drop one in the mail to you.

I'd like to have our date scheduled by next Friday so let's all look at our calendars and book this one.  I can't wait to see you guys again.  It's been way, way too long!

With the camp-out and conference, August is gonna be a little busy. And...we may bring our granddaughter with us so preferably would like to wait until school is out since we drive down on Friday and come back on Sunday and would prefer to not have to pull her out of school on Friday. Other that that though any other time should work out fine for us.

I would prefer a Sat or Sun and as long as it's booked far enough in advance, I can plan to be off work. Really want to come this year as I won't be fat or pregnant and can do all the rides!! :)

I would love to go this year.  The only time that is bad for me is in July.  I'll be gone from approximately July 9th to 18th.  No biggie if the date falls in there, I'll just go another year.  I've never been on an OH outing.  My step son Gage and his mom Jodi do a lot and Gage always has lots to share!

What is Holiday World/Splashin' Safari Day?

Holiday World/Splashin' Safari Day is one of the annual get-togethers we Indiana OHers have.  I live in Spencer County (where Holiday World is located) and work for our economic development office so I make all the arrangements for the get-together.  I can usually get us a group discount on admission and some decent discounts on hotel rooms.  In the past we've met in the morning at Santa's Lodge for breakfast before heading over to the parks.  The manager at St. Nick's (the restaurant in Santa's Lodge) gives us a great discount on the breakfast buffet.

It looks like the last weekend in June or the first weekend in July is ok with the people who have responded.  I'll keep it open for a few more days to see if anyone else responds.  I'll have the date set by the end of the week.

Can't wait to see everyone!

So do you post the information when all set on the web site?  I'm in Fort Wayne, and we don't get much information on events.   Could this possibly be distributed via St. Vincents monthly support group meetings?  I know St. Vincents is not only bariatric center, but that is what I'm familiar with.

This sounds like loads of fun.  Hope I can make it too.  

Sounds like a blast. My family and I would be interested. First part of July sounds spiffy. We'll just need to know ahead of time to arrange time off/funds/etc.
