Stomach Bug

My daughter had the stomach bug over the weekend.  She had it pretty bad and I know she picked it up from daycare.  Now I am afraid of getting it.  It wasn't a pretty sight during that time and I glad it is over.  My question is that I have the lapband and I am afraid of getting this bug and throwing up all the time.  I am afraid that the band will slip or go out of place.  What will happen if I do get sick?  Please let me know.  Thanks
