It really hurts

Okay stupid question here.....I had my first fill (with the lapband) last Thursday and now if I try to eat more than two bites of something it really hurts.  Like it gets lodged in my esophagus or something.  I start to cough and I either throw it up or the cough pushes it down.  I can't really eat anything and even if I try to drink too fast I get that stuck feeling.  I don't know what I should do.  Any suggestions at to what is going on or what  should do?  I am hungry, but I am afraid to eat anything.  Please help!  Please text me with an answer because I am having trouble with my Internet at home....317-531-3652.

Sounds to me like you are too tight and should probably have an unfill.. The other option is to go to liquids for a couple days... you initial stuck episode may have irritated the bad and caused it to swell... going back on the liquids will help ease the swelling... If you can't tolerate liquids u definately need an unfill so you don't get dehydrated...
Good Luck and I hope you feel better

Called the Dr today and they took out half of the fill I received on Thursday.  The RN said I need to stay on liquids today and then soft solids for a couple of days.  Thanks for your texts.  Just wanted to give everyone an update.
