Back at Home
I got home yesrterday around lunch time. My hospital stay was much easier than I had expected, but I truely think it was all the walking I did. I made my self do at least 5 laps around the unit at least every 2 hours.
I have also been really suprised at how quickly I get full. I'm trying to figure out how to schedule meds, fluids, and protein so I can get it all in. I didn't even come close yesterday as far as protein but got close on fluids. Today is a new day and I'll try again...so far, so good.
I really appreciate all the advice and tips that were offered here before I went into the hospital. This board is such a big help.
Oh yea, the chap stick was a life saver!
Happy Sunday,
Renee

Congrats Renee, on the wls. A few tricks of the trade that has helped me maintain my goal 7 yrs, is I weigh every day, and I keep a special calander, and take a pic once a week, and keep a journel, and scrapbook of your journey. Now 7 years out, all the plastics, wls journey pics, what a ride and Id do it again in a heartbeat. My hubby and 2 daughters are at goal also. Rose
Enjoy the ride!
