Surgery date is Jan 25th!

Had my first appt with the surgeon yesterday and got my date.  Only 3 weeks away!

Hi!!  I'm new to IN so I had to look it up. 

Isn't it exciting! I couldn't hardly believe it would be just three weeks! Then all of a sudden, I am on the Optifast diet, 8 days before surgery. Now on day three of the Optifast diet. Doing good so far. But, I have decided I am going to do what it takes to make the surgery a success. I am uber ready for my new start in this new year!  We are very close to each other!  I do not know anyone who has had this surgery that lives close.  I am always looking for a walking buddy or workout buddy. I ususally go to the YMCA.  Would love the company!

I am visiting my daughter in Savannah, GA for a few days and just saw your post.  I'll be back home next week. I'd love  to get together. I live in Lake Ridge Crossing, which is out past Castle High School.  I work out at Bobs gym in the pool. 

I've met one other friend on here who's really sweet.  She is in N Eville I think.  Also a lady I worked with at MJN had the surgery about 5-6 years ago and leads a support group for people from either hospital in Evansville area.
