Oh Wow!

I can hardly believe my surgery is a week from today! I didn't let myself get to excited or worried. I have been just living each day as it come. Now, I am on my pre-surgery Optifast diet. It is day TWO and it has not been that bad. But then again it is only day TWO! I do have a slight headache, but that is okay.

I have read, read and read what all to expect and what will happen. But, is there anything or advise that you can give me to help me throught the next several days. Plus, advise on what to expect when I wake up from surgery!

Anything would be very helpful!

Thank You!

May God Bless You Always, In All Ways!

Jonna

Practice keeping your protien right next to you and sipping all day long!!! Your ability to keep fluids going in will be your best friend.  If you havent yet start taking the biotin... I helped me keep my hair.

Remember just to do your best at first.. it will all fall into place for you... dont stress it and ENJOY LIFE!!

Linda Kay has an awesome point with fluids!  I cannot stress that enough as well...

Also.... do not be afraid to cry.... know it will get better!!!  Lean on your friends and family..... Ask for help when you need it... If you are in pain or have nausea- take the meds!

Know we are all here for you!!  Enjoy the ride!

You have some great advise from the others.  Start using Nioxin shampoo for thinning hair.  I got it at Great Clips.  It helped me after my hair had started thinning.  It will halp keep your thinning hair less if you start now.

You will have GAINED weight by the time you leave the hospital.  This is 100% normal, it's fluid, don't worry about it.
Take lip balm to the hospital and also a pillow to put between your tummy and the seat belt for the ride home.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
