OK I JUST WON MY CARE SELECT MEDICAID AND I WAS GIVEN 2 DOCTORS NAMES I NEED...
After fighting for disability for 2 1/2 years I finally won last year on Dec 3...then this year after fighting like 3 years I finally won Care Select Indiana Medicaid.
It starts as of Jan 1 and I will be off the Indiana HIP.
I called St. Vincents Hospital because that is where I want to get it done. I live about 3 hours a way but they seem to be pretty good at what they do, so the drive will be worth it.
I was given only 2 dictors that take medicaid. I do not get medicare with my ssi so im stuck but also thankful for the gift of medicaid.
I was suppose to have had surgery already last year...my mother did a loan for me and after all my test were done and one week till surgery my sister who is a very evil person talked my mom into stopping the loan on me and all the money had to be given back one week away from the surgery.
Some of you have already heard my story...and yes it ripped my heart out but I did not give up...I went on to win my ssi and now this year on Dec 3 again the medical came. I thought how strange that both on the same days one year a part...I look at it as a gift from God.
So now I need some input on these two doctors by some of you that may have had them.
1. is Dr. Douglas Kaderabek
2. is Dr. John Huse
those seem to be the only ones at St. Vinncents in Carmel that take medicaid.
I wanted Dr. Inman but she does not take this type of medicaid im told and does not take just straight medicaid.
I just want to make it through the surgery, and recovery process...I have kidz that need me and I want to live that is why I am doing this for health reasons...to start living life again.
I am hoping within the next 2-6 months I will have it done cos my gallbladder need to be out last year I have been hanging on cos I only want one surgery...I was just in the ER a week a go with it but they said its not in any danger of bursting but its up to me on how long I can deal with the pain due to the stones one being 2.2 cm.
So I trust you all you have always been there for me in what ever I have needed and asked so now I really need you cos when jan 2 or 3rd gets here I am calling one of these doctors to set up my first visit...the start of it all again all over...so if you could please send me feed back both good and bad I would be very greatful....I want so bad to see again posted on my page YES I HAVE A DATE!
Love you all and have a safe and happy New Years!

Dr Huse did my surgery RNY and my husbands RNY. I absolutely love him, I think he has tons of experience and an excellent bedside manner. My husband had respiratory complications after surgery and had a cardiac arrest but I cannot blame the surgery for any of that. I have not had any complications at all. Dr Huse was wonderful during the time my husband was in the hospital and since then.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
