Hello,

I am fairly new t the message board. I usually don't post but I do read a lot of the topics and have found a lot of helpful information.

However I just had to post that I have a surgery date!! Feb 5th! WooHoo!!!!

Congrats. I see that it is a revision for you. When was your original surgery? Was it a RNY? I know a few people that had to have a lapband revised to RNY. Also know a few who had to have their RNY revised (myself included).

Yes, it is a revision from Vertical ring (in 2000) to a RNY. I lost weight with the ring but was unable to keep it off for very long. I also didnt get anywhere near my goal weight. It didn't help any that I got pregnant twice since (My kids are 18 months apart...ages 6 and 5).
