Merry Christmas my OH family.............

I do hope that Santa found your house well and that your Christmas dreams and desires were met. Those that are good for you anyway.

Tiffany will be picking us up at 7 this morning. We like to be there when the grandkids get up. Other than finishing up the deviled eggs and mixing up the salad, I'm ready...food-wise. I also   need to take a shower but that won't take very long.

I hope that however you spend your Christmas, that you feel the love that Christ came upon the earth to bring on this, his special day.

The beauty of a woman is not seen through what she wears. It is seen through how she carries herself and the way she doesn’t allow herself to settle. Don’t ever let anyone take for granted the beauty that is within you. Stand firm and know that you’re a wonderful person. Always remember your value and respect yourself. I’m so blessed to have you in my life.  Sometimes we all need to be reminded how special we really are!

Good Morning my Hoosier Loser family.  Merry Christmas to each of you!!  I have had three of my grandkids for five days so I am ready for the holiday to be over.  We started doing Christmas gatherings on Tuesday and have been non stop since.

We still have one son at home so we do the Christmas morning thing.  I have a ham in the crock pot and will make breakfast stuff to go with it after my son opens gifts but I am not expecting any company.  I am looking forward to a day of peace and quiet and being lazy.

My hubby got me a new cell phone with wireless headphones that I can use for my music so I am going to try to figure out how to use them today.  I didn't get internet on my phone because I wasn't sure I would use it but I did get a phone I could upgrade to have internet if I changed my mind.  Do any of you have internet on your phone?  If so what kind of things do you do with it?  Basically the only thing I do online is email and read OH.

Jeannie,

The very first thing I used the internet on my cell for was when I was at work and we were all sequestered to the basement because of a tornado warning. I used my cell to get to weather.com to get the scoop on what all was going on. I haven't been without the internet on my phone every since. Granted, I like all my bells and whistles on my Blackberry. I get my home email on my cell & can send emails as well. I check my facebook & myspace through it. OH is a pain to do on there though. I can also get messages from Yahoo messenger.

Ohhh...I like my yahoo messenger and having the weather would be nice.  Also I know I could have driving directions.  The directions are not a huge deal for me because I so rarely get to go anywhere but when your lost it would be worth a million bucks lol.

Merry Christmas everyone!  The house is quiet, and the wind's howling... I'm enjoying the peace before the grandkids descend upon us at noon!

I did a lot of pre-cooking yesterday, measured up dry ingredients for recipes and put in little containers - measured up wet ingredients and stored in fridge - so today's cooking will be easy.

Hope all have a safe and very Merry Christmas.

Thanks Jeannie... This HAS to be rough on him being in the hospital when Santa was supposed to come down his chimminey.. but my son went home n the middle of the night and made sure he woke to some presents...He should be able to come home by Monday if all is well on the blood thinners..A very sad time for parents and grandparents indeed.
