Today is going to be a busy day. I woke up to the phone ringing at 7:30 to hear my sister crying. Her mother in law passed away this morning. I wish I could be in Texas to be there for all of them. It is never easy to lose a parent much less at Christmas. I will pray all day that they are comforted and find some joy during this wonderful season.
I have baking to do for my family. I have found that it is not the sweets I crave but the snack mix so I WONT be doing that. I plan to run out and pick up some last minute items for stockings and then sit back and enjoy the evening with my family.
