OUCH!

Went back to the back surgeon's PA yesterday and I was doing fine. I am having a pinched nerve on my left leg side and they said that wasn't uncommon.  It's very painful. So they started me on a zpac (steroids) and continued my pain meds. I went to bed around 8:00 or 8:30 or so. I was feeling a little tipsy. Around 11:00 I got up (husband also) and ate some cheese & crackers and took my pain meds.  I hadn't had any since around 5:30 and I was hurting.  Got back into bed.  Woke up around 4:00 togo to the bathroom and was in the bathroom totally out of wack of where I was.  I turned and feel face down onto my arm/hand and my face.  My hand swelled up huge and skinned both knees on the rug and I thought for sure  I broke my arm.  I couldn't get up even with my husband's help.  He sat beside me for a while and finally I was able to get my balance.  He helped me up to my walker (I have to use since backsurgery) and got me into bed.  It was very painful.  So no more zpac and I have to have someone around me all the time till the zpac passes.  Lots of fluid and lots to eat (their instructions.)

Please, please pray for me.  I'm finding this recovery very hard!

Thanks all!

Lois

You are certainly in my prayers. I cannot imagine what back surgery would be like and how the recovery would go. It would have to be painful. I hope that God surrounds you with his healing arms today and takes the burden of pain off your shoulders and onto his. I know that He will see you through this difficult time in a way that will make you look up and say yes Father it was you!

Stay strong and bless you

Kristie
