Hello I am a newbie!!!!

Hello my name is ashlee i am having a tough time deciding what surgery to have i have just started my journey and have met with the dietican and social worker but any advice ya'll have would be great!!!!!!

You and your Dr will decide what is right for you but I would do my RNY again in a second...Stay active on the board.. a good support group is what will make or break ya!!

Hi Ashlee and welcome!
I had RNY on Sept 30th and I can tell you that I would do it again in a second! I have lost almost 50 pounds so far and feel so much better it isn't hardly believable.
Your Doctor will help you decide which surgery will be the right one for you, but in the meantime, this board is such an awesome source of info and support. I am not a regular poster, but I am a regular lurker. I read every post that comes thru in here.
Whatever your decision is , you've made a great start in achieving your goals!

Welcome Ashlee.  Who is your surgeon??

I second the recommendation to stay active on the board.  You might find that the main board is more active with more info than the local board.
